Stationary Cell Phone Antenna

Bruce Franco | September 8th, 2008 | 3 Comments

We have lake house in Maine where I can get just enough Verizon celluar signal to receive text messages, but not enough to receive email or make a phone call. Does anyone know how I might be able to receive, amplify (or concentrate), and transmit (or direct feed into my cell) a stronger signal? …or possibly know of a commercial antenna system that might do the job?

Thanks,

Cam 2 Cam cell phones

If i had the money i would probably do it but i dont have the money nor the technology but cell phone companies do. I think this is the future of cell phones as well. I would invent a system of phones that had a camera inside, similar to a web cam, so people could talk to each other and see each other in person while talking on speaker phone. This would be great in the car to have on the dash connected to the AC. It would be great for friends at the club, parties or other places to stay in touch and show their other friends whats going on, and it would be great for families to keep in touch and see each other.

cell phone reception

We live in an area that the cell phone reception is inconsistent or just not good. We were told we live in a hole. Is there a way to build a receiver like a TV antenna that would boost the reception?
