Novelty Bluetooth Headset

I had a motorola bluetooth headset that i stepped on and well i broke it. even though i could not still use it as a headset i thought it could still have some use. So I got a AA battery holder and soldered it to the board.

I got a foam bannana and cut it in half. from there i cut out a spot for the board from the inside of the bluetooth. I had to make a little hole that went to the out side of the bannana and made a little piece of plastic that would press the button for power and sync. I also put a hole for the speaker and the microphone and mounted in with glue. then i cut out a spot for the battery and i glued the two halfs of the bannana together.

now i can walk around and have a conversation and the phone looks like a bannana. the voice command still works so i never have to grab the actual phone. it is so much fun.

    That is just awsome! I could just see it now. Fruit basket on a table. “Excuse me my bannana is ringing.” Picks up bannana, “Hello, oh Hi, Bill…” People giving you insane looks. “Yea, Nancy is here.” Hands Bannana-phone to Nancy. “uhhh…Ok.. Bill? Oh. hey!”

    Ring ring ring ring… banana phone! (cellular, modular, interactivodular). Novelty bluetooth headsets are awesome. If I ever remember to pull up this site when I’m not at work (RS 8268) I’ll post the mods I did for an NES and SEGA controller headsets. Another idea I’ve been wanting to do, which would be great as a Valentine’s day gift (or any other romantic gift giving day), is to wire a bluetooth speakerphone into one of the “MP3 ready” teddy bears that have built in speakers.
