Aiden Gibson | August 1st, 2008I wired a IR reciver LED to a 9 volt battery and hooked up a 100 ohm resistor in to stop the LED from blowing out and then put it in a project box it is pretty simple.

Does anyone out there have a website, or have any clue on any that will have instructions on how to do projects. I thought this website was kind of interesting, but was dissappointed when I could never find instructions on how to do any of the projects listed.
I would like to connect the IR motion detector to drive a relay so I have a contact closure that can switch on another device. Is there a simple driver for this?

I came here looking for instructions also, specifically on making an IR motion detector - not for real security purposes, but as a project for our Cub Scouts
