Desktop Robot

I want to make a small robot that wanders around my desk out of the dozen broken X-Mods that I have laying around the house. There are plenty of servos, motors, and electronic bits in there to use.

    Probably would work really well if you could get your hands on some old erector sets

    also radio shack sells a BASIC Stamp controller kit that could get you set in the right direction.

    Thanks for the heads up about the basic stamps. My local store didn’t have any and I haven’t checked the website in a while.
    The control circuits for the Xmod servos are integrated into the board, so instead of rebuilding them, i am just going to buy them from a hobby shop. I also bought some nitinol muscle wire. Cool stuff!
