Robot Wars

Ok most people have heard of the robot wars show.. Robots verse each other with weapons mounted upon them to destroy the other robot >: ).. its so EVIL!!!!!!!

So i want to create this type of robot. In small scale but not remote control.. I was thinking along the line of a 360 array or senses then when the senses are activated the robot attacks.

But make a colour that they wont attack
So you could place them in a coloured arena turn them on and watch them fight!! >: ) So when the robots sense each other they attack!!!! i CHALLENGE You all to try this.. It seems possible with a little effort. If this gave u inspiration please give it a vote!

    Hmmm.
    My neighbor made a robot that is practically a rock.
    It weighs 200lbs, and just crashes into the other robor, its also fireproof, waterproof, and requires a diamond-tip blade to cut up.\

    Unfortunatly, Robot wars has been canceled for the last 7 years, so i guess its just us.

    Also understand that in “Robot Wars”, the robots were not automatic, and exposed sensors would last maybe 5 min before the hammerbot and Roboarson destroyed them.

    PS. RoboArson is MY robot, you steal, they fight.

    yea i know it was such an awsome show!!!!!
    who cares if the sensors get destroyed though.. The more carnage the better

    You’ll probaly have to use photo interrupters or something for the sensor system so it can tell colors. The way this works is some colors reflect more than others, like black doesn’t reflect the infrared light, whereas white reflects about all of it. Still, this is a really good project.
